Cylinder Magnet
What are the fat, cylinder-shaped plastic pieces near the end of HDMI cable?
I'm trying to fish my cable through a wall, and there's a narrow spot it won't fit through because of that fat plastic piece. Can I just break that off, or is there something important in there? Someone told me they thought it was a magnet or something.
