How is electricity generated by renewable energy added to your house's electric grid? ?

I'm just wondering how i could create energy and use it on my grid

If you plan on generating power via a wind turbine or a solar array, and selling it to the power company, you need the permission of the power company in your area. Not all allow this. Plus you need some expensive electronics that the power company will sell you that synchronizes your power with their power.

So it's not worth doing unless you plan on generating a lot of power, like 10kW or more.

otherwise, you need lots of batteries, inverters and charge controllers to generate the AC voltage, and a separate set of wiring for your house, and/or switches to switch outlets between power company and solar/wind.
