which GPU would be better for 1680X1050 res 9800GTX+ SSC SLI, GTX 280, GTX 260?
The PSU I can get are silverstone strider series both 750WATT and 850WATT. I believe if i put 2 GTX 260s I would exceed or crash the pc

What ever video card had 512mb of ram or more.
As for power supply, please buy the best one you can afford. Don't skimp, I suggest even buying a cheaper video card over a cheaper PSU. Video cards get upgraded all the time. However PSU's are either purchased with whatever pc or case and or purchased once and ignored after.
You wouldn't buy a Ferrari and put some cheap, water filled gas in it, would you?
