AGM VSR10 HOP UP Question...?
Whenever I shoot the gun, the bb flies straight for some 25 feet and then rises/arcs up drastically. The hop up setting is on Normal, I have tried putting it all the way on Hop , but it rose even more. Even though I have set the hop up on Normal, I can see it is not all the way straight/falling. Can I sand down the nub? Do I need another hop up? How can I make it go straight without rising whatsoever
What do you mean by normal? Are they still flying with the hop up turned all the way down? If that's the case you might not be using heavy enough BB's. You really shouldn't be shooting anything lighter than .28 or .3 grams out of a sniper rifle. I personally use .36's... This could possibly be the problem. But if that doesn't fix it I would try to replace the bucking. I've got a BAR 10 which is identical to the Marui VSR 10, so I put a Nineball bucking in there. If yours is Marui compatible, I would recommend trying a Nineball or Firefly bucking. Either way it's an inexpensive upgrade that will improve the gun quite a bit in terms of consistency.
