biomass,wind or hydro who is the cleanest renewable energies?
These other answers are accurate, but mostly focus on today's technology. In the near future, wind will emerge as the superior of these three technologies. Biomass is just an oil substitute, and hydro will always dam up nature. Improved wind capture machines will protect the birds (they could already if people cared, but once the energy conversion rate goes up this will happen) and enable quiet wind power capture at low wind speeds. And the new designs on windmills are lovely. Soon after, advances in solar (solar plastic sheeting, even solar paint) will be a major energy source as well, along with wind. Excellent harmony with nature if we care and don't screw it up.
